? Ron Stanley is the new chief operating officer of Landstar System, a Jacksonville-based transportation and logistics company. Stanley was president of subsidiary Landstar Express America.

? The Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce named Ed Burr chairman.

? Kirk Goodman is the new general manager of the Southern League's Jacksonville Suns. Goodman replaces Peter Bragan Jr., who succeeds his father as president of the minor league baseball team.

? Crowley Maritime Corp. named Alan Twaits vice president and general counsel. Twaits was a general counsel for Carnival Corp. and Premier Cruise Lines.

? Hugh M. Durden, G. Harry Durity and Julius Genachowski joined the board of directors of Website Pros, a web services provider.

? Laura Lasko is the new president and CEO of Girls Inc. of Jacksonville. Lasko was previously executive director of Girls Inc. of Central Savannah River Area in Augusta, Ga.
